Bonjour!

My name is Tissy, I'm from Brittany in France and I've been living in Ireland since 1996.  I met my husband Max (also from France - Lille) down in Kinsale (County Cork) in 2000, where he used to spend all his holidays since the age of 7, fishing with his grandfather.  At the time, I was a Tour Guide settled in Galway.  Together, we moved to Carraroe in 2003 and had two beautiful daughters - Océane and Marine.

I am a Massage & Beauty Therapist and Max brings people deep sea fishing in Galway Bay and around the Aran Island. We both love what we do!

We opened our Holiday Home in 2012 which can cater for up to 7 people.  It's well located in a quiet Estate and within walking distance to the village, where you will find a Spar, Chemist, Playground, Restaurants / Coffee Shops, Church, Pubs, disco and more.  Carraroe is in the heart of the Gaeltacht, so Irish is spoken fluently in the Village, which also hosts the Irish University of Galway - the Gael Acadamh - so no matter how your level of Irish is, no doubt you'll pick up a few words!

Surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches as well as the famous Coral Beach, you will find, just like us, that Carraroe is a beautiful Gem of Connemara and we look forward to meeting you!
